What is GetPosition?
GetPosition is a GPS and GSM tracking platform designed to provide real-time location information for individuals or objects such as vehicles, bicycles, or equipment. The service allows users to access location details conveniently via an iPhone application.

What are the requirements to use GetPosition?
<ul>
<li>Each monitored object must be equipped with a GSM/GPS tracker. Users can select from our recommended models or utilize existing compatible devices. Further details are available at <a href="http://getposition.eu/support/">http://getposition.eu/support/</a>.</li>
<li>A GPRS data connection, provided by a local mobile operator, is necessary for the SIM card integrated within the tracker.</li>
<li>An iPhone device and the GetPosition application are required for access.</li>

How can you utilize GetPosition?
The primary application is fleet management—tracking multiple vehicles within a company. Regardless of whether you manage a single vehicle or an entire fleet, knowing their real-time location enhances operational efficiency and route optimization.

Monitoring rented property is another use case. If you lease out vehicles or equipment (such as motorcycles, construction machinery, tractors, quad bikes), GetPosition enables you to track usage and location. You can also set notifications if the asset leaves predefined areas.

For vehicle security, GetPosition offers capabilities to detect unauthorized movement. If your vehicle is stolen or towed, instant alerts on your smartphone can facilitate timely response.

Additionally, occasional supervision of children or elderly family members can be managed through real-time location tracking, providing peace of mind when allowing them to be alone outdoors.
